Steven's exceptional financial knowledge comes from the diverse experiences that have given him his unique perspective on the financial world.  As a senior hedge fund analyst, Steven has tapped into unparalleled business networks while making meticulously analyzed decisions involving tens of millions of dollars.  He has helped top corporate executives define and execute industry-changing transactions as an experienced investment banker and having helped run several family businesses has encouraged Steven to approach life with an entrepreneurial view from an early age.  Nauticos Investment Advisors is the result of the combination of Steven’s exceptional financial background and his desire to provide distinctively knowledgeable and open financial advice.

Prior to founding Nauticos Investment Advisors, Steven was a member of a 4-person team responsible for investing several hundred million dollars in a variety of equity, debt and options for a Connecticut-based "long-short" hedge fund.  The team achieved annual compound returns in excess of the overall market over a 3 year period while significantly limiting both directional market-risk and overall portfolio volatility.

Steven has worked for several Wall Street investment banks,providing corporate clients with strategic financial advice.  During his tenure as an investment banker he directed a wide array of corporate transactions including stock and debt offerings, rights offerings, spin/split-offs, public and private mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcy/restructurings and leveraged buyouts.  

Steven graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Quantitative Economics (the economics degree for math geeks!)
